Web-Host with the Most?

With my group's sports-website project getting ready for construction, we're looking for some feedback from our fellow 417'ers. We're curious if anyone has good/bad things to say about sites like GoDaddy.com and the like. We're hoping not to spend too much out of our wallets, but would like a web-host that is reliable and has an interface that isn't over a novice web-designer's head. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

I use WordPress, which costs something like $10 or $20 bucks for two years...

That is a reasonable cost for WordPress. Have you made any progress in this area?

We found a web-host that wasn't too expensive, but still has the features we're looking for. We'll also be able to upload HTML files, which is the format we'd prefer. We went with FatCow.com. Ben, Greg, and I are working on writing our first round of articles, so we should have some content up at the end of this week. Oh, it was was $44 for two years, split between the three of us.
